ChatShot
ChatShot User Manual
Installation
- Visit the Chrome Web Store
- Search for "ChatShot"
- Click Add to Browser and confirm the permissions
- Pin the extension icon to your toolbar for quick access
How to Take a Screenshot
- Open a supported AI site (ChatGPT, Gemini, or DeepSeek)
- Start or open a conversation
- A small camera icon will appear to the right of each prompt
- Click the camera icon to capture that prompt-and-response pair
- The image is copied directly to your clipboard or saved as a downloaded file
Long Content Handling
When an AI response exceeds the visible screen height, ChatShot automatically scrolls the page and stitches together the full content — no manual intervention required.
Per-Site Settings
Click the ChatShot icon in your toolbar to open the popup settings page. You can enable or disable ChatShot for each AI site independently without affecting other sites.
Output Format
- Clipboard — The image is written directly to your system clipboard
- Download — The image is saved to your default downloads folder
